CARTHAGE JULY 12

MARCUS has provided us with some information for next weekend. Now that everyone has had a GREAT Fourth of July... its time to move on to something else. I have found that it is a continual parade of events that come and give DSMV club opportunities to come out. (I know I have been somewhat "slacking" in my posting on this web site... so sorry guys... I'm getting adjusted to being a working woman again - ha)

OKAY.... BACK TO CARTHAGE... The local VFW and AmVets are hosting a tribute to WW2 and Korean War vets. We want to help support this by bringing a Vehicle of this era if possible... and making this event more memorable. Having a vehicle there in REAL LIFE to touch... really makes it all worthwhile. This is important to the VETERANS. try if you can to bring a vehicle. Marcus says they will be feeding everyone grilled chicken...Yummm. It will be held at the Elementary School (Highgway 16), at Carthage from 11-1. Marcus has been asked to bring the '42 and the trailer. I think Doug is bringing his M37. There is supposedly going to be a helicopter. Bring your HMV and COME ON DOWN!

Carthage is up Hwy 25 (lakeland turns into Hwy 25) about 40 miles.
